The yelling doll πŸ‘ΆπŸ½

“Loose was the stool. Trickled down the rim of his undergarments,” said the mother

Tensed, fidgety and visibly confused

The little poor thing looked dessicated, drained of vigor with chapped lips

Looking longingly as though spectre-struck

Grunting to the whistling warble in his pants as he projected another episode of Ill πŸ€’

“Be calm, dear ma”. Said the healer

“We have to rehydrate. Before Montezuma’s revenge inundate”

He sharpened his pins to burrow in search of blood pipes

Multiple strikes yet the vein amiss

Mother, teary as father clenched his teeth & looked away

The bambino wailed & fought

Burning up πŸ₯΅ and sweating like a cow in a slaughterhouse

The lonesome cry of a coyote

“We mean no harm, little earthling”

Said the hardened carer, donned with a pair of earmuffs, poker faced and ready to punch away

The burden a healer has to bear, as well as the pang of guilt & frustrations of the parents.. As if to say “Oh, what can I do to take the child’s pain upon myself”.
Oh malady, the ineffable and inevitable malady.

Excellent piece as always boss. Was worried for a moment there, seeing as it’s been a while since your last upload. Nice to see you back.

    1. I recall many occasions when I stare helplessly at the parents engorged veins while struggling to get the baby’s, & say to them, “how I wish I could cannulate yours instead,” as a joke to liven things up, & also a genuine stream of frustration in my head πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ.

Caring for them is a full-time job & someone’s gotta do it. I’ll say we’re lucky to be one.

      Thanks amigo.
Intermittent breaks are necessary to get my oomph back.
