At the end of the day, you have to rely on oneself, family and Allah (God) to get through these turbulent times and stay safe.
Placing one’s trust, hope and faith on these so-called leaders that only have their self interest at heart (and quite frankly opened the gates for the “spiky nightmarish demons” to begin with) is setting up oneself for doom.

Compromised moral ecology that negatively affects everyone yet our umpires go at it for their own gains, our people flock at it out of indiscipline and sentimentalism.
The community bond is broken 💔.

Since time immemorial, the concept of a hero braving the dark, triumphing over it and saving the day have been ingrained so deep ( hence why superhero entertainment sells 😄😄) – no doubt coined by the umpires to keep the masses happy and in line, a sense of freedom in a well designed prison.
Hero is not an individual but an ideal, principles of which can be adapted by any & all.
With collective effort, committment and determination, the sinking ship can be saved.
Alas, easier said than done and ’tis as you said, community bond is broken 😔😔😔.
