Dauda πŸ’”

Sauna in hell πŸ”₯

Is it weird that he’s not the man he used to be?

Is he aware he’s drifting off the tracks?

And becoming everything he’s preached against

Out of the frustration of emptiness;

The lack of company

He found a new vice

A new detestable habit

Long lulling in his subconsciousness

Waiting to take the light in the fertile soil of idleness

Latching on like a parasite

Consuming all that he is

Another saint lost to the sauna in hell πŸ”₯

  1. Ibrahim Aliyu says:

    Be careful when we fight the monsters, lest we become one of them.
    True piety, True righteousness comes not just from condemning evil acts (thoughts) and staying away from them but also that despite being faced with those same thoughts, being tempted and not to succumb no matter how tempting, frequent or protracted but rather emerge stronger, better from the experience, achieving enlightenment.

    A nice read sir, I’m grateful.

    1. That’s very true. Resisting temptation is easier said than done but of course only the disciplined & focused make it out. If they don’t flinch or resist the urge to have ‘just a little’ – which begins all vice.

      Thanks for the read and the insight boss πŸ€œπŸΎπŸ€›πŸ½
